NOTAFLOF + Guest Passes

NOTAFLOF = No one turned away for lack of funds

All festival produced events have sliding scale and a NOTAFLOF policy. In addition, sex worker activists, artists and other community members can receive Special Guest Passes for the festival on a sliding scale fee (from $0-$125) upon request. Contact us to request your Special Guest pass.

Lodging

Location of Festival

The movies in San Francisco will be shown at the Roxie Theater,and Artists Television Access which are in the Mission neighborhood of San Frnacisco. The Mission is pretty close to downtown, the Castro, the Tenderloin and a bit further from Polk Street neighborhoods. The East Bay Events take place in Oakland, which generally has lower hotel rates.

Hotels in San Francisco are VERY expensive, prohibitively so for most people. Oakland has better prices but the public transportation is not as accessible in some areas. There aren't very many hotels in Berkeley. If you need assistance in booking, please contact us.

Arrival at San Francisco Airport

BART takes you into San Francisco. There are door to door van services for approximately $18-$22. Some major hotels have pick-up services. Shared rides can be between $18 and $50, depending where you are going.

Arrival at Oakland Airport

BART is at the airport, which takes you into San Francisco. There are door to door van services for around $25.00

Accommodations

For sex workers and for participating filmmakers, we offer to connect you with potential housing volunteers. We have very limited slots available and we definitely don't guarantee that you will find housing, but we will try. Email sexworkerfest@gmail and put Housing Form in the subect to begin the process.
