This short subtitled excerpt of a feature documentary by Carole Roussopoulos consists of raw footage from the occupation of the Church of Nazier by prostitutes in France in 1975 which is widely recognized as the catapulting event of the European sex worker rights movment. The video documents the occupation of Église Saint-Nizier in Lyon by more than a hundred prostitutes on 2 June, 1975 to draw attention to their situation. “They talk about their personal lives,their relationship to society, their working conditions and what they want.” (1975-46 min.)
