The Fall of Communism as seen In Gay Pornography focuses on the production/casting of gay erotic videos in Eastern Europe since the introduction of capitalism. The video provides a glimpse of young men responding to the pressures of an unfamiliar world, one in which money, power and sex are now connected. The movie may be seen to exploit and stigmatize these young men further, through it’s commentary on exploitation. The makers’ approach provides a rare glimpse of this work and circumstance.
